Food Processing Capabilities
SPRAY DRYING
Contract Spray Drying involves ingredient conversion through specialized chemical reactions and processing. This is then dried into a custom food-grade powder through water evaporation. Many customers then package their final product with us as well.
EXTRUSION
In contract extrusion, we first blend and combine powder ingredients with water and minor liquids within a twin-screw extrusion barrel. We then convert this mixture via heat, pressure and custom dies to form unique shapes and textures. Our extrusion team is ready to partner with you; we thrive in this space!
DRY BLENDING
We take customer-defined powder ingredient recipes and blend them via ribbon and plow mixing. Additionally, we have the ability to cut in fats and plate in liquid ingredients. We’re thus a great option for any powder blending needs you may have.
LIQUID BLENDING
AIM Food performs water-based, low-viscosity reactions and liquifying of powders in our liquid blend tanks. Subsequently, we have bulk packaging solutions scaling from 55-gallon drums up through railcars. If you have a need in the bulk liquid space, please reach out to our team.
RE-PACKING
The process of contract re-packing is simple. We convert packaging of powders and food ingredients from one size to another, ranging from 25-lb bags up to railcars. If you have a product that needs to be packed into another style of package, this is what we do every day.
CONSUMER PACKAGING
As a contract packaging company, we package finished dry food products into a variety of consumer-sized packages, including pillow bags, stand-up pouches, bag-in-a-box configurations and other retail packaging.
